Peacefully with his family by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 in his 74th year, Doug Smith of Southampton. Sweetheart husband of Arlene (nee Bull). Loving Dad of Lorrie Leduc of Participation Lodge and her husband Arnold of Timmins, Henry and his wife Tammy of Edmonton Alberta, and Allan and his wife Tammy of Guelph. Loving grandpa of Randi, Alana, Samantha, and Nicole. Dear brother of Ginny Wood and her husband Bill of Lion’s Head. Brother-in-law of Arthur Bull and his wife Suzanne of Kirkland Lake. Predeceased by his brother Eventon and his sister Joanne Robinson.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. A funeral service will be conducted in the Port Elgin Missionary Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Harvey officiating.
