Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Friday, February 19th, 2010 in her 94th year, the former Flora “Rae” Black, of Saugeen Shores. Wife of the late Angus McIntosh. Dear mother of Marilyn and her husband Ron McComb of Owen Sound, John and his wife Joyce of Owen Sound, Bill and his wife Linda of Waterloo, Grace and her husband Jim Currie of Southampton. Grandmother of Ray and Kelly McComb of Chatsworth, Valerie McComb of Oliphant, Dianne McComb of Pincher Creek AB, Bruce McComb of Banff AB, Natashia and Troy Harasym of North Vancouver BC, Kim and Marc Scott, of Kilsyth, Angela and Ryan Carson of Owen Sound, Brent and Yvonne McIntosh, Tom, and Patrick McIntosh all of K.W. Great-grandmother of ten children. Also survived by brothers-in-law Ivan Fenwick of Owen Sound, Gordon, and Bob McIntosh of London and her sister-in-law Grace Black of Coburg. Predeceased by her parents Melvin and Helen Black, and her siblings Jean, Keith, and Ralph.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2010. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Chuck Moon officiating.
