Peacefully, at home in Cambridge, on Monday, July 19th, 2010, in his 52nd year, Mike Hamilton, formerly of Cargill. Loving partner of Patti Oliver. Loving father of Jeffrey and his wife Sarah, and Julie and her husband Tory Reid. Loving step-Dad of Adam Williams and Danielle Williams. Proud Grandfather of Nicole, Kailynn, Branden, Bryson, and Olivia. Dear son of John and Audrey Hamilton. Dear brother of Linda Hamilton. Mike will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted in the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen St.S., Paisley, on Friday, July 23rd, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Shelly Butterfield-Kocis officiating. Visitation to take place one hour prior to the funeral service.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. | |

To the family of Mike Hamilton,
On behalf of the Municipality of Kincardine Fire Department, Tiverton and Kincardine Fire Stations, I would like to express my sincerest condolences during the loss of Mike. Mike was a Firefighter and Training Officer at the Tiverton and District Fire Department when I started in 1994. I really enjoyed my time working with Mike and was sad when he left the Fire Department. He was a lot of fun and worked hard to do a good job. I hope he is at peace now.

I am deeply shocked and saddened by Mike's passing. Mike always brought a smile and quiet confidence with him to work. He also was never too busy to stop and chat about whatever was on the other individual's mind. He will be missed.

We were so shocked to hear of Mike sudden passing and are very sadden.
This will be a very difficult time for all woho loved Mike as a Father,Son, Grandfather and spouse.
At this difficult time remember the good times and keep them with you always.
We had a lot of fun times with Mike when he was in Tiverton and Glenn enjoyed being with Mike on the fire department and he had a lot of laughs with Mike.
