At Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Chesley on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at the age of 96 years, the former Nellie Sumpton of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Lawrence Miller. Mother of Ruth Parker and her special friend Larry McKay of Bruce Township. Grandma to Samantha Carefoot and her friend Wayne Wilson of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her sister Henrietta Curry and by her two brothers Wilfred Sumpton and Albert Sumpton. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. on Monday, June 29th, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted in the Church of the Community of Christ, corner of Bricker and Market Sts., in Port Elgin on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., with High Priest Bill McCarty officiating. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Church of the Community
of Christ, or to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated
as expressions of sympathy.
