Peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009, in his 88th year, Orval McMillan of Port Elgin. Loving husband of Kathleen (Malcolm). Loving dad of Lynda and her husband Joseph Horth of Niagara Falls, Victor and his wife Helen of Hepworth, and Robert of Port Elgin. Loving stepfather of Earl Malcolm and his wife Debbie, Edith and her husband Murray Gibbons, Ruth Ann and her husband Bob Shewfelt, all of Southampton, Leona Rowe of Port Elgin, Bruce Malcolm and his wife Nancy of Tiverton, Heather Purdy and her friend John of Shallow Lake, Nancy Laderoute of Hamner, Mary Jean and her husband Ron Soloman of Drayton, Marie Malcolm and her friend Klaus Krickhan of Port Elgin, and Bert Malcolm and his wife Laurie of Tiverton. Proud grandpa of twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren. Sister of Thelma Lang of Owen Sound. He is predeceased by his wife Ruby (Lyons) and by his brother Albert McMillan.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009. A funeral service will be conducted in the Community Christ Church, corner of Bricker and Market St., Port Elgin, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Mac Irvine and Elder Esther Domm officiating.

Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Community Christ Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
