| Peacefully on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 , at the Grey Bruce Health Services Southampton at the age of 94, Mabel Maddick . Pampered resident of Hampton Court Retirement Villa, Southampton . Beloved wife of the late Cecil. Mother of Deanna and Eric Blair of Brantford, Barb Arnold of Port Elgin, Sherrie Maddick and Shane Lloyd of Warminster. Grandmother of Jennifer and Norm Nairn, Lisa Teague, Andrea Torti, Kevin and Jacquie Teague, Chris Arnold, Kim and Jeff Smythe and Anita Arnold. Great-grandmother of Jackie and Brian Nairn, Brendan and Shea Miller, Keegan Torti, Ethan, Owen and Blair Teague, Amber, Jessica, Joseph and Kaitlynn Sowa, Abigail, Simon and Benjamin Smythe. Special friend of Gale Sinclair of Port Elgin, and Maury Bernstein of Southampton. Sister-in-law of Rose Bateman of Oakville. Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. The family is deeply thankful for the wonderful care Mabel was given in her four years at Hampton Court. The staff and residents were her second family. We would also like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Marriott, the ambulance attendants, emergency staff and the nurses at the Grey Bruce Health Services Southampton for their compassionate care. Private family arrangements are in the care of W. Kent Milroy, Port Elgin Chapel. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society
