At the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home in Lion’s Head on Thursday, March 26th, 2009, in his 96th year, Stan Knight of Port Elgin. Loving husband of 59 years to the former Doris Collins. Father of Sandra Taylor and Ken and his wife Eliza all of Owen Sound and Peter and his wife Alisa of Perth, Australia. Grandpa of James Taylor, Jill Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Amanda Burns, Rory Knight, Steven Knight, Elizabeth Knight and Alexandra Knight. Stan will be missed by the Collins Family, Ken and his wife Lucille, Kathleen and her husband Gordon MacNabb and Eleanor Collins and also by his extended family at the Golden Dawn Senior’s Home. He is predeceased by his ten brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street, Port Elgin, from 10.00 to 11.00am on Thursday, April 2nd. Funeral service will be conducted in the church at 11.00 am. with the Rev. Gordon Williams and the Rev. Robert Widdowson officiating. Arrangements in the care of the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel.
