At the Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at the age of 86 years, Helen Karcher of Cambridge and formerly of Port Elgin. Helen is predeceased by her brothers and sisters Rose Winninburg, Hazel Gross, Alma Scammell, Dorothy Peariso, Stewart Karcher and Carl Karcher. She is survived by her close friend Wilma Myers of Cambridge, and by her nieces and nephews.

Friends may call the Port of Fellowship Baptist Church, Goderich St. North in Port Elgin from noon at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3rd. Funeral service will be conducted in the church on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the Pastor Mike Anderson officiating.

Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
