At Gateway Haven, Wiarton, on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at the age of 80 years, John Haskett of Port Elgin, and formerly of Montreal and Toronto. Husband of the late Beverley Elizabeth (Betty) Taylor. Beloved father of Beverley and her husband Kevin Ryan of Port Elgin, and Timothy Haskett of Barrie, Grandfather of Christopher Ryan and his wife Akiko of Toronto. Great-grandfather of James Ryan. Brother of Queenie Cryer of Pefferlaw. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Muriel Haskett, two brothers, and five sisters.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6th, 2008. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Margaret Greenhow officiating.

Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
