Peacefully with family by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Wednesday, September 9th, 2009, in his 66th year, Mick Bottrill of Port Elgin and formerly of Cambridge. Loving husband of Sue. Loving dad of Siobhan and her husband Jay Lovejoy, Kevin and his wife Laurie, Sharna and her fiancé Brad Collier, and Colleen and her husband Mick Smith. Proud granddad of Baila, Tanner, Maggie, Peyton, and Hailey. Special friend of Toonie. Dear brother of Wendy and her husband Ral McCartney. Dear uncle of Gail and her husband Murray Campbell, and Stuart McCartney. Much loved son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle of the Evans Family.

Mick was born in Coventry, England. For 32 years he lived in Cambridge, Ontario where he was a co-owner of “Sue Bottrill Dance Studio”. Upon his recent retirement he and Sue moved to Port Elgin. His family and friends will miss his infectious laugh and loving ways.

A Celebration of Mick’s life will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2009 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Lily Roth Restaurant, 49 Main St., Cambridge, Ontario.

Memorial contributions to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Equipment Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
