Peacefully, at Leisureworld Care Centre, Brantford, on Friday, October 16th, 2009, at the age of 94 years, the former Jane Black of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Howard Benson. Mother of Victor and his wife Sandy, of Brantford, and Richard of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Nathan and his wife Corrine, John and his wife Tracey, Jeffrey and his wife Shelley, Sarah and her fiancé Adam, Victoria, and Ricky. Great-grandmother of Ryan, and two on the way. She is survived by former daughters-in-law Maria Benson, Fay Benson, and Lou-Ann Lehman. Predeceased by her parents Dora and James Black, sisters Nellie and Fee, and brother Daniel. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon when a funeral service will be conducted in the chapel with Pastor Marshall Eizenga of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly officiating.
