At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday May 3rd, 2009, at the age of 85 years, Ed Bell of Port Elgin. Loving husband of the former Verena MacGregor. Special Dad of Barbara and her husband Lorne Currie of Southampton, Carol (Teddy) and her husband Ron Rowbottom of Owasso, Oklahoma, Patricia Bell of Port Elgin and Gordon and his wife Brenda of Parkville, Missouri. He was the cherished grandpa of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Atkinson of Petrolia and brother Allen Bell of Simcoe and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Geneva Chechak and grandson Gordon Currie. Funeral service will be conducted at the Community of Christ Church, corner of Bricker & Market Street, Port Elgin on Thursday, May 7th, at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Bill McCarty officiating. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to World Accord or the Community of Christ Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Click here
